The Bombers Mission is simple:

To maximize our player’s unrealized dreams and capabilities in a dynamic environment that strengthens them physically, mentally, competitively, and builds self confidence.

What's happeing for the 2010-2011 season?

The Bombers Athletic Club is currently developing a local 10U* and 16U* competitive softball team; as well as adding to our current 12U* and 14U* teams.  We are in the process of looking for talented young ball players and good parents.  Many of the teams are in need of coaches; please inquire if you are interested.

Past Accomplishments

2009

• 14B Team finished 11th in USSSA State Tournament, best team in Colorado Springs Area.
• One player on the ASA All Star Team.

2010

• 12C Team finished 4th in USSSA State Tournament, best team in Colorado Springs Area.
• 12C – One player on the All-American Team.
• 14B Team finished 7th in USSSA State Tournament, second best team in Colorado Springs Area.
• 14B players on the USSSA All Star Team.

 

Tryouts are scheduled

We will be holding try-outs on July 31st, 2010
At Cottonwood Park – Red Field (Colorado Springs)

10U - New Team Forming (12:30-2:30pm)

• Registration will begin at 12:30pm;
• Try-outs will begin at 1:00pm - 2:00pm;
• 2:00 - 2:30pm (Pitchers/Catchers) - Pitchers and Catchers will also need to attend the normal try-out session.
• (Coaches Pending, inquire if interested)

12U - Existing Team Adding players (2:00-4:00pm)

• Registration will begin at 2:00pm
• Try-outs will begin at 2:30pm - 3:30pm
• 3:30 - 4:00pm (Pitchers/Catchers) - Pitchers and Catchers will also need to attend the normal try-out session.
• (Additional Coaches to be considered, inquire if interested)

14U - Existing Team Adding players (3:30-5:30pm)

• Registration will begin at 3:30pm;
• Try-outs will begin at 4:00pm - 5:00pm;
• 5:00 - 5:30pm (Pitchers/Catchers) - Pitchers and Catchers will also need to attend the normal try-out session.
• (Additional Coaches to be considered, inquire if interested)

16U - New Team (5:00-7:00pm)

• Registration will begin at 5:00pm;
• Try-outs will begin at 5:30pm - 6:30pm;
• 6:30 - 7:00pm (Pitchers/Catchers) - Pitchers and Catchers will also need to attend the normal try-out session.

(Additional Coaches to be considered, inquire if interested)

Age Groups

• 10U - Eligible players must be 10 years old or under as of January 1, 2011.
• 12U - Eligible players must be 12 years old or under as of January 1, 2011.
• 14U - Eligible players must be 14 years old or under as of January 1, 2011.
• 16U - Eligible players must be 16 years old or under as of January 1, 2011.
